Carol J. Slaybaugh, 80, of Auburn, died Sunday February 8, 2015 at her home.

She was born January 22, 1935 in Hillsdale County, MI, the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Aldrich.

She married Robert Slaybaugh on March 7, 1954 in Camden, MI.

Carol was a homemaker, farmer’s wife, church organist and loved quilting, gardening and her family and friends. She was a member of Northpoint Community Church in Fort Wayne, IN.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Robert Slaybaugh of Auburn; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann and Bill Case of Fort Wayne, and Cathy Slaybaugh of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Robert Reppert, Matthew (Jamuna) Reppert, Mark Reppert, Jenny (Jeremy) McClain, Mindy (Lane) Gordon and Daniel (Kate) Case; nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Skiles.

Burial will be in Cambria Cemetery No. 2, Cambria, MI.
