Writer, painter, illustrator, satirist, animator and actor. His daily comic strip in the newspapers and his humorous short stories made him one of the most popular and beloved persons in Denmark. Storm P, as he was commonly known, lived most of his life at Frederiksberg, a Copenhagen district, and in 1977 the Storm P Museum, housing 50.000 of his drawings as well as a large number of his paintings and watercolours, was opened only few metres from where he used to live.
