Lissetta Emma Parsons, 86, of 13919 N. Riverbeach Road died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at her residence.

Born Aug. 8, 1917, in Peoria to John K. and Anna K. Hillers Hofmann, she married Verne H. Parsons on Feb. 14, 1942, in Missouri. He died Dec. 18, 1974.

She also was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are one daughter, Velda Parsons of Chillicothe; and two sons, Larry (and Cynthia) of East Peoria and Don (and Pamela) of Chillicothe.

Private graveside services will be Tuesday at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
