An Old Citizen Dead.
On Monday evening Thomas Gillam,
an old and much respected citizen of
Madison died after a long and painful
illness. He was highly esteemed and
his loss will be felt very much by the
community in which he resided. His
funeral services were held on Wednesday
morning and his remains were interred
in the Zion cemetery in that
township. In the death of Mr. Gillam
the county loses an old and influential
citizen and one whom she mourns the
loss of.
