“Jasper Boror died at his home at Smithboro, Monday, November 26, 1894, at 9:20 o'clock of consumption, aged 21 years, 11 months and 18 days. He had been sick for some time and had recently moved to town. Being an orphan Mrs. Waren took him in and his two brothers to keep. He was not a member of any Church, but Sunday evening a few members of the Christian church called and sung a few songs and were led in prayer by the pastor and he said he wanted to he baptized and Monday was fixed upon as the time to attend to that service, but he never lived to see that time. He leaves four brothers and a sister to mourn his death. The funeral was preached at the Christian church, Tuesday 10:30 o'clock, a. m., by Rev. D. K. Barber.”
