Mrs.Virginia J. Balcanoff, age 54, of 626 Golf Course Drive, Fort Walton Beach, passed away Jan. 20, 1976, in a local hospital.
A native of Cullman County, Ala., Mrs. Balcanoff had moved from New Burgh, N.Y., some 13 months ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m.Friday from McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jesse Shackelford Jr. officiating. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at McLaughlin Mortuary. Interment will take place in Beal Memorial Cemetery. McLaughlin Mortuary of Fort Walton Beach is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: her husband,George J. Balcanoff; two sons, Greg Balcanoff, both of Fort Walton Beach, and Mike Balcanoff, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., father, Houston M. Skidmore, West Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Houston G. Skidmore, Columbus, Ohio, and Bud Skidmore, Kevil, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Graves, LaCenter, Ky., and Mrs. Sue Nace, Texarkana, Texas; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
