Besides his wife, Jemima (Skinner) Jones, and another relative, he also shares this marker with Jonathan and Abigail (Jones) Goldsmith, and Augusta (Goldsmith) Johnson.
I have received the following info by email:
"Benaiah Jones 2nd is actually buried in Jonesville, Michigan where he died in 1839. The Painesville cemetery marker with his name is memorializing his service in the American Revolutionary War of 1776."
