Vivian Roberta Jenkins of Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2:45 pm in Salem Crossing at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 30 days.

Born March 29, 1927 in Millersburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Murl Cecil and Martha Estel (Martin) Chastain.

She was a former secretary at the Meadow View Health Care Center and a former employee of the old Sears store in Salem. She was a member of Westview Christian Church and the Christopher Harrison Chapter Daughters Of The American Revolution.

She married December 19, 1945 to Paris Lee Jenkins, who passed away July 29, 2013.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Phillip Lee (Gail) Jenkins, Livonia and Roger D. (Susan) Jenkins, Campbellsburg; 2 Daughters: Donna K. (Tom Baker) Miller, Scottsburg and Beth A. (Denny) McKinley, Salem; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Rodney Alan Jenkins and 1 great grandson.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Applegate officiating.

Interment at Claysville Cemetery.
