Wiliam Penland married Amelia "Milly" Bybee on April 26, 1805 in Fleming Co., KY. William was her second husband.

William was the son of Alexander and Mary Penland.

"William & Milly's daughter, Sarah Morgan Penland married John M. Davis. Their daughter Matilda J. Davis married Roswell "Ross" Bebee. I have tried for years to trace "Ross", to no avail. He appears, and then disappears. My grtgrandmother Matilda Davis Bebee remarried, so I assume he may have died."
