Robert "Wea-Wea" Q. Baca, age 61, beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Robert was born in Oakland, CA on April 25, 1953, to Santiago Baca and Rose Quintana Baca.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Santiago and Rose Baca, wife, Barbara J. Baca and brother, Eliseo Baca.
Robert is survived by sons, Robert E. (Mary Jane) Baca, Gary L. Baca and Mark E. (Pamela) Baca, also surviving ex-wife, Lorraine L. Baca and daughters, Nelda (Martín Sandoval) Loomis, Crystal Loomis and Leanna (Sergio) Loomis-Meza, five grandsons, Robert Ray Baca, Nathan Baca, Martín Sandoval, Isaiah Baca and Caleb Coriz, seven granddaughters, Ashley Baca, Gabriella Baca, Annabell Hernández, Angel Coriz, Katelyn Sandoval, Cynthia Sandoval and Jasmine Baca, great- grandson, Elijah Baca, brother, Vincent (Elsie) Baca, sister, Elena Baca and brother at heart, Paul Márquez.
Robert was a wonderful man who loved his family and friends. Robert worked for The City of Albuquerque, Solid Waste Department. Robert was a Big Oakland Raiders and University of New Mexico Lobos Fan. Robert was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary follow by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket Pallbearers will be Nathan Baca, Robert Ray Baca, Isaiah Baca, Martín Sandoval, Larry Crespín, Albert Lovato, Brian Guillon and Lorenzo Valenzuela. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vince Baca, Sergio Maze and Paul Márquez.
