THE DELAVAN TIMES-Dec. 18, 1884- "Mrs. Sparrow, an agd lady living in the south-east part of town, died Friday night of last week, from the effects of a paralytic stroke. She had been ailing some-what during the summer with the heart disease and about two weeks ago had a severe paralytic stroke which resulted in her death. The funeral took place from the M E Church, Rev. Orr officiating. Her remains were taken to the Dillon Cemetery for interment. She leaves three daughters and on son.
