Hannah was the daughter of Thomas & Experience Goodell Grow, from Hampton, Windham Co, CT. Hannah came to Cortland NY with many of her sisters & their families about 1802. Her sister Rhoda was the wife of Deacon Alfred Bennett, her sister Chloe was the wife of Rev. Alfred's brother, Deacon Asa Bennett. They formed the Homer First Baptist Church. Her sister Anna Grow Darby was married to Joseph Darby, & came with them.
