Ned Watts Rizzardi, age 82, entered his heavenly home Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at home.

Born in Knoxville, a graduate of Everett High School and University of Tennessee, Knoxville, served in the United States Army, worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, Ala., returned to Maryville upon retirement, enjoyed traveling, visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, and attending beekeeper meetings with his wife.

Preceded in death by parents, Louis Thomas and Bonnie Faye Roach Rizzardi; stepmother, Louise Rizzardi; brother, Louis Rizzardi, Jr.; sisters, Grace Cooter and Sara Louise Brown, and first wife, Wilma Spires Rizzardi.

Survivors include wife, Lynda Cook Rizzardi; children, John Rizzardi, Donald and Louise Rizzardi, Pamela and Phil Hill, Tammy Rizzardi, Ronald and Cathy Rizzardi; special son, Chuck Patrick; grandchildren, Abigail Rizzardi, Amanda and Curtis Williams, Joseph and Lindsay Rizzardi, Christine and Scott Davis, Amelia Rizzardi, Donald Rizzardi, II, Timothy Milner, Brooke and Kent Isom, Micah Hoder, Ethan Hoder, Annabelle Rizzardi, and Drew Rizzardi; six great-grandchildren; niece, Bonnie Gordon; and nephews, James Rizzardi, Robert Cooter, Jr., John Cooter, Ralph Brown, and Richard Brown.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel in Maryville with Reverend Clifton Hearon and Reverend Chuck Patrick officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville for the interment service with Travis Eggers officiating.
