Joyce C. Jones, 72, of Quakertown died November 7, 2010 in the home of her son Bert. She was the wife of the late Burroughs "Bert" Jones. Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Oswin and Catherine (Boyer) Schwager. Joyce was currently employed at Beer City in Quakertown. Prior to that she worked for the former American Olean Tile of Quakertown and the former Hotel Tremont in Lansdale. She was a member of the Quakertown Moose. Joyce was a member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Trumbauersville. In addition to her son Bert and his wife, Sara, of Quakertown, she is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Nace of Trumbauersville; five grandchildren, Erik Jones, Erica Kulp, Susan Pacella, Emily Jones, and Adam Jones; two great-grandchildren, Alicia and Ashley Kulp; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Roger L. Jones; four brothers, Monroe, Earl, George, Luther; a sister, Gertrude Pfrommer; and a granddaughter, Corrine Jones. Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10:30AM in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
