KINGSVILLE — Onia Mae Ingle Vines, age 86, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 11, 2015, at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Kingsville, Ohio.

Born May 17, 1928, in Cullman, Ala., she was the daughter of Milton and Jeannie (Fortner) Bonds.


Onia was a sales clerk at the former J.C. Penney store in Conneaut for 21 years.

She was a member of the Conneaut Church of Christ where she was involved in the “Clothing Closet”. She enjoyed sewing and crafts.

Survivors include her son, James Ingle of Chester, Va.; a step-daughter, Betty (Everett) Helfer of Jefferson, Ohio; a step-son, Arlan (Connie) Vines of Pierpont, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Judy (Richard) Nimelli of Lake City, Pa., Glenda (Bob) Perry of Lake City, Fla., Kathy (Wayne) Sandlin of Cullman, Ala., Johnny (Terri) Bennefield of Hancuille, Ala., and Jimmy Bennefield of Gardendale, Ala., and Tom Swan of Conneaut, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; as well as great-nieces and nephews and more distant relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Cecil L. Ingle; her second husband, Woodrow Vines; and her sister, Dimple Bennefield.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 16th, the Conneaut Church of Christ, 448 West Main Road, with Tim Kraus officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.

Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15th, at the MARCY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, and on Friday morning, Jan. 16th, at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Conneaut Church of Christ, or to the Ardis Rhinehart Kremer Home. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home and at the Church

CHESTER, Va. — James Allen Ingle Sr. (Major, U.S. Army), age 71, of Chester, Va., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016.
James Ingle (Jim) was born Jan. 29, 1945, to the late Cecil and Onia Mae Ingle. He graduated from Bowling Green University (B.S. History). He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and obtained the rank of Major. He served honorably including overseas in Vietnam and Thailand. After leaving active duty he became a civilian contractor for the Department of U.S. Army and was awarded a top secret clearance for the work he did in battle logistics, retiring in 2005.
Jim Ingle was a member of the Knights of Columbus and taught RCIA classes at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, where he was also a long time member. Mr. Ingle served as the President of Ingle University. He also served as the founder and Board Member of the Power of Pain Foundation. In 2006, Jim co-authored the book The Wisdom of Ingle.
Jim is survived by his two sons, Jim Ingle Jr. (Jennifer) and Tim Ingle (Sarah); two daughters, Marby Ingle-Levy (Brian) and Barby Ingle-Taylor (Ken); six loving grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Jon Hall, Jaylen Levy, Jacob Ingle, Johan Ingle, Bryson Levy, and Cora Ingle.
Although Jim was unable to receive the kidney transplant he needed, more than 150 people will be recipients of his bone and tissue donations. His generous gifts provide hope to other families – hope for a chance at living a healthier, more productive life. Although Jim suffered with many illnesses, today he has none. He is in Heaven, thanks to the redeeming work of his savior, Jesus Christ.
His family and friends can look forward to reuniting with him one day, as it is written: God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Colonial Heights, Va. 23834, on Wednesday, Feb. 10th, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow immediately at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Cemetery, 330 Beechwood Ave. S. Chesterfield, Va. 23834.
Family and friends will be received at J.T. MORRISS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Va. 23831, on Tuesday, Feb. 9th, from 6 to 8 p.m.
