Clement M. DeCroes married Sarah Kerr on November 23, 1912 in Franklin Co., OH. Clement's parents were Clement and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (nee Pierce/Pearce) DeCroes who were married November 25, 1877 in Hamilton Co., OH. Sarah's parents were James and Isabelle (nee Murrey) Kerr.
Clement and Sarah had at least the following children: Elizabeth Isabel (DeCroes) Wolf, Margaret (DeCroes) Reuter, George C., and Charlotte B. (DeCroes) Hanks.

Clement DeCroes, Stone Builder, Dies at Cleveland.
Relatives here were informed yesterday of the death of Clement DeCroes, 56-year-old stone builder and former Indianapolis resident who was injured fatally in a 50-foot fall from a scaffold in Cleveland, O.
Mr. DeCroes, who lived in Cleveland, was a member of the firm of DeCroes Brothers, stone builders, which did the stone work on Central Library and other buildings in Indianapolis.
Born in Westport, he was the son of Clement DeCroes Sr., who died three years ago. The elder DeCroes was manager of the English Hotel dining room many years.
Mr. DeCroes left Indianapolis in 1921 and went to Cleveland.
Among other buildings on which he had been a foreman of stone construction were the Department of Commerce building and Mellon National Gallery of Art in Washington and the Terminal Tower, Severance Hall and others in Cleveland.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sarah Kerr DeCroes, formerly of Bloomington; four children, Isabel DeCroes, Margie DeCroes, George DeCroes, and Charlotte DeCroes, all of Cleveland; two brothers, Samuel L DeCroes of Washington and Harry DeCroes of Frankfort, and two sisters, Miss Charlotte DeCroes and Miss Bertha DeCroes, both of Indianapolis.
