| Birth: | unknown | | Death: | unknown | Egyptian Royalty. Probably either a foreign born princess or the daughter of a foreign born parent, she was one of the principle wives of Ramses III, second ruler of the 20th Dynasty. As the pharaoh never chose a Great Royal Wife from among his harem, Isis' rival wife and her son became embroiled in an assassination plot against he pharaoh. The conspirators were caught and executed, however, leaving Isis in control of the harem and her son the heir. She was buried in tomb QV51 in the Valley of the Queens, although her name was omitted from the cartouches in the Medinet Habu temple where the queen's name would normally have appeared. Her son would eventually rule Egypt as Ramses VI. (bio by: Iola)
