METTER -- Mrs. Pearl Sanders Kitchens, 75, died Jan. 21 at Candler County Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Candler County. She was a retired seamstress from Twin City Manufacturing Co. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Metter First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Marion Harvey Kitchens Jr.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Marion Harvey Kitchens and Luana Kitchens of Gainesville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Rigdon, and Faye and Johnnie Wells, all of Metter; two brothers, Paul Sanders of Savannah and Louis Sanders of Metter; three sisters, Myra Fordham of Metter, Frances Jackson of Tampa, Fla., and Coleen Sanders of Maine; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday at Kennedy-Morgan Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, burial in Lake Cemetery.
