Born September 15, 1953 in Wellsboro, PA, he is the son of the late Arleigh and Myrtle (Gleason) Southard.
Lewis worked at the Ingersoll-Rand in Painted Post.
He is survived by his children,
John (Tracy) Southard of Corning, NY,
Joseph (Teonna) Southard of Elkland, PA,
Michael (Gina) Southard of Elkland, PA
and Susan (Lewis) Plaza of Elkland, PA;
13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren;
his siblings,
Mildred and Paul Stone of Tioga, PA,
Janet Sherman of Middlebury,
Mary “Anna” and Don Cline of Knoxville,
June and Gary Sherman of Elkland,
Everett Southard of Lawrenceville,
Ronnie Southard of Middlebury,
and Bobby Southard of Middlebury
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Lynn and his brothers, Charles, Earl, Carl, Ernie and Richard Southard.
Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Friday, 1:00 -3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Larry O’Dell officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
