ODESSA Harvey Gene Andrews, Sr., 75, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born June 1, 1933 in Archer City, Texas to Sam and Grace (Welch) Andrews.

Harvey attended Olney High School in Olney, graduating in 1952. He began his career in 1952 with Furr's Cafeteria, retiring as District Manager after 35 years of service. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Cornerstone Worship Center.

Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2009, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors David Crispin and Johnny Storz officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
