Funeral services for Nathan S. Baty, age 69, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. David Moore officiating. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mr. Baty passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Jacksonville.
He was born February 10, 1945 in Troup.
Nathan worked and retired from Walmart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Baty; a daughter, Candi Baty; and sister, Evie Jane Franz.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 43 years, Linda Jean Dixon Baty; son, Jason Baty; daughters, Michelle Murray and husband Jimmy, Brandi Thurman, all of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Ashley Murray, Nicholas Murray, and Kelsey Thurman.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
