Elijah T. McClenahan, a former resident of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday at his home in Orem from heart trouble.
Mr. McClenahan was born in Mt. Pleasant July 24, 1862, of pioneer parents, James K. and Katherina Kidd McClenahan. He married Nielsina Johansen May 19, 1886. Mr. McClenahan was engaged in farming and ranching in Mt. Pleasant, moving to Orem in 1924, where he purchased a fruit orchard. His wife died two years ago.
He is survived by one daughter, Mr. glen Monk, and six grandsons, all of Orem, and a sister, Mrs. Peter H. Madsen, Mt. Pleasant.
