Wiley Floyd was the first-born son of John Isaiah Dennard, Sr. and his wife, Arminda Malinda Thower. Both John and Arminda are buried in the Almand Cemetery, Rockdale County, Georgia. If possible, please link Arminda as Wiley's mother.
Also, Wiley Floyd was married three times:
1. Mary A. Winburn on December 12, 1867 (s/b 1844) in Newton County. Children: Mahalia Dennard, b. August 14, 1868, d. July 15, 1939, m. John Henry Welch July 05, 1886; Ovid E. Dennard (male), b. September 18, 1869, d. June 30, 1937, m. Elen Glen Dora Cherry; William Floyd Dennard, b. February 11, 1871, d. September 16, 1946, m. Susie Stephens; Hardeman Andrew Dennard, b. June 05, 1872, d. July 30, 1938, m. Lula Lewis April 15, 1900; and Annie E. Dennard, b. May 25, 1874, d. September 25, 1903, m. Horatio "Horrie" Barbary Olive. Just to confuse things as our ancestors just didn't cooperate and keep things neat - Mary A. Winburn married first Wiley F. Dennard, son of John and Mary Ann Almand Dennard on September 01, 1861. He was Wiley Floyd's uncle as John Isaiah was a brother of Wiley F. and both were sons of John and Mary Ann Almand Dennard. Wiley F. was killed in the Civil War. Mary and Wiley F. had a son, Wiley F. (don't you just love it - the same name over and over), born after his father was killed in 1862.
2. Matilda L. Davis on May 07, 1879 in Fulton Co., GA One possible child, though not substantiated so I am not including that child here.
3. Mary E. Ogle on May 08, 1886 in Fulton Co., GA. Children: Lottie Dennard, born Aug 1891; Harry Dennard, born December 1897.
