My Aunt Issy...
She was the last surviving child of nine children born to H.H. Shepherd Sr. and Daisy Margaret (Grant) Shepherd. She was next to last youngest.
She died the morning of December 28th in Comer, Georgia.
She live mostly in Birmingham, Alabama. She did live and work in Michigan for a time. And had resided in California for several years.
She retired from "Ma Bell" after many years.
She was loved.
She will be missed.
Funeral services will be held in Birmingham Saturday, January 3rd, 2015. She will be buried in the Shepherd Family plot.

December 29, 2014 Isabella Mae Shepherd Parks 83, died Monday, December 29, at her home in Comer Georgia.
Isabella was born January 21, 1931 in McCalla, Alabama to H.Hunter and Daisy Grant Shepherd. She graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School. Her life long career with Bell Telephone took her across the country and finally home to Birmingham where she retired to the family farm in Pinson, Alabama. She resided there until 2006 when she and her beloved nephew Randall Shepherd moved to Georgia.
She is survived by her seven nephews, eight nieces, and nineteen great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Elmwood Chapel, Saturday, January 3, 2015. Visitation is from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by services at 2:00 PM. Graveside is at Elmwood Cemetary, Birmingham Alabama.
