Obituary: Maria B. Buck, 73, of Newport Center, VT passed away peacefully on December 22, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 3, 1941 to Gerard and Bella (Bedard) Brochu. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1959. On January 9, 1993 she married Charles Buck who survives her. Maria worked as co-owner and bookkeeper for C & D Starter Shop, Inc where she retired in 2008. She was a member of the Bobbin Mill Players where she was a singer for 12 years. Her hobbies included painting, collecting dolls, flower gardening, bird watching, singing, and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her husband Charles Buck of Newport Center, VT, by her children: Carmen Marie Doe and her husband Earl, and Robin Jean Buck, by her step children: Alan Buck and his wife Jodye, Eric Buck and companion Kathy, Keith Buck, Aaron Buck and his wife Donna, by her grandchildren: Niki Doe, Crystal Lowery, Joshua Doe, Tawni Bowen, Ravyn Bowen, by her step grandchildren: Sheena Lanoue, Shauna Book, Alan Buck ll, Cheyenne Buck, Alicia Buck, Shawn Buck, Wyatt Buck, Meira Buck, Nicholas Buck, Ross Lowery, Aidan Lowery, Taylor Bressette, Logan Limoge, and Gavin Lanoue, by her brothers and sisters: Rene Brochu, Gerard Brochu, Stephen Brochu, Alfred Brochu, John Brochu, Eva Brochu, Anna Sanville, Clara Brochu, Rita Choquette, Lea Cook, Martha Dupont, Theresa Round, Patricia Mann and extended family Randall Family and by numerous nieces and nephews.
