Ray is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley; six daughters; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brothers Blaine and Ernie.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Dorman, Bill, Hayes, Tom and Paul Kuykendall; sisters Leoda Abendschoen and Juanita Snoots; and two infant siblings.
I only had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Ray twice. I wish I could have spent more time with him.
