William set a school record in the 1943-44 season with 27 wins and only 1 loss. While at Fort Davis in 1952-53 his team was the Regional Champion which was as far as they played at the time. At Sterling City in 1954 and 1956 they were Regional Champions and in 1957 District Champions.
