J.C. McKee, a former resident of Reynoldsivlle, died at Barnesboro, Pa., February 24th at the age of 77 years. He had been ill about four months and as a last resort he was taken to the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia for an operation. The operation seemed successful and he returned to Barnesboro, but suffered a relapse and died. The funeral services were held at Barnesboro in the M.E. church, of which he had been a member several years.
Mr. McKee was born in Clarion Co., Pa., Jan. 5, 1839, moving to Reynoldsville in 1890. Four years ago he went to Barnesboro. Mr. McKee is survived by R.L. McKee, Barnesboro, J.P. McKee, Youngstown, Ohio, C.M. McKee, Homestead, Pa. Mrs. Roy Scott, Reynoldsville.
