Kramer, Conrad: (1904-1995); "Funeral services for Conrad Kramer were held on Monday, Oct 9, at the chapel of Strate Funeral Home in Davenport. Mr Kramer, who was 90 years old, died on Thursday, Oct 5, 1995, in Spokane. He was born on Dec 26, 1904, at Marcellus, the son of Peter and Marie (Boos) Kramer. He grew up on a farm between Odessa and Ritzville. He married Hannah Schoesler on Dec 18, 1927 in Dryden. They farmed between Odessa and Ritzville until they moved to Lamont in 1941, where they farmed until they moved to Corvallis, OR in 1949. There, they also farmed until returning to Odessa in 1954. He worked for the Odessa Union Warehouse until the early 1960s, when the couple moved to Ephrata, where he operated a radiator and lawn mower repair shop. IN 1968, they moved to Hartline until 1995, when poor health forced him to move to Deer Park to live with his son and daughter-in-law. More recently, he had been a resident of the Regency Care Nursing Home in Spokane. He is survived by one son and his wife, Duane and Helen Kramer, of Deer Park; four grandchildren, Kathy Kramer, of Soap Lake; Kimberly Goll of Ephrata; Ronald Kramer of Spokane; and Donald Kramer of Coulee City; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ella Harms, of Davenport; and Lydia Owens, of Lewiston, Idaho; three brothers, Martin Kramer of Odessa; Harold Kramer, of Medical Lake, and Victor Kramer, of Spokane, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Rev Mark Egerston officiated at the funeral. Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery in Davenport. Strate Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." (Odessa Record: 1995)
