Harold N. Simerly, age 81, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at his home.

He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum, a Korean War Veteran and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clinton and Stella Simerly; brothers, Rev. Samuel Eugene Simerly, Richard Mack Simerly; sisters, Christine Chadwick and Willie Faye Spradlin.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Lou; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Terry Simerly and Eddie and Jeanine Simerly; brother and sister-in-law, Louie and Phyllis Simerly; sister, Loretta Titlow; grandchildren include, Alex and Anne Simerly, Aaron Simerly, Whitley Simerly and Katelyn Simerly and great-granddaughter, Kennedi Paige Weigel and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, with service to follow with Reverend Delbert Raines officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.

In lieu of flowers, voluntary donations may be made to Blount Memorial Hospice and Palliative Care, 1095 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804.
