Elder Clyde Harold Abbott, Sr., age 94 of Wears Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006. He was a lifelong member of Headrick's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite (32nd degree Mason), and Shriners for more than 50 years and had been a member of Mtn. Star Masonic Lodge #197.
He was preceded in death by parents Daniel Jackson and Mamie Ellen Abbott, son Kenneth C. Abbott, and daughter Angela Diane Abbott Davis.
