DELMAR HACKER DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
Delmar Leroy Hacker, 38, of east of Garden City, died this morning in a local hospital after a short illness. He was admitted to the hospital Tuesday and his condition steadily worsened. Efforts yesterday to aid his recovery with the city's iron lung proved fruitless.
The time of the funeral has not yet been set but will be announced later by Phillips. Survivors include the widow, a son, Charles Leroy, three daughters, Katharine Jean, Dona Louise and Delma Gertrude, and the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hacker, 505 North Taylor Street.
