Doris Lee Wellard Liljenquist, 81, passed away December 13, 2014 in Blackfoot, Idaho. She was born January 3, 1933, in Pocatello, Idaho, the seventh child of Daniel R. Wellard and Amy May Stewart Wellard. There were 13 children in the family.

They moved to McCammon, Idaho when she was 12 years old and that is where she met her eternal companion, Vaughn Liljenquist. They were married in Boise, Idaho and were the parents of 11 children. They were sealed with their family in the Mesa Temple, February 21, 1959. She was as Lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.

They moved a lot in their lifetimes as Vaughn worked. Doris was first and foremost an awesome mother. She also worked at the Fresh Pack in Lewisville, ID, the Sugar Factory in Iona, ID. and at Bash’s Foods in Showlow and Taylor, AZ.

She was famous for her quilts, canning, crafts of all kinds, and her love of travel.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Bonnie) Liljenquist-Glendale, AZ, Ken (Julie) Liljenquist-Poc, ID, Kelly (Jill) Liljenquist-Scottsdale, AZ, Lane (Debbie) Liljenquist-Mesa, AZ, Kevin (Janice) Liljenquist-Oveido, FL, Lori (Rick) Coonrod-Twin Falls, ID, Kim (Candy) Liljenquist-Geneva, FL, Shelly Mooney-Cottonwood, AZ, Lance Liljenquist, Colleen-Daughter-in-law- Blackfoot, ID, Shawn (Carrie) Liljenquist, Tuscon, AZ.

She is also survived by her siblings, Edna Smith, Joyce Warner, Shirley Warner, Danny Wellard, Linda (Jerry) Chivers, Larrie Tripp, and two sisters-in-law, Hilda Wellard and Neva Wellard.

She had 52 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was so blessed and always so proud of her posterity.

She was truly a pioneer woman in all aspects of her life. We love her and will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Century Ward Building located on the corner of 4th and Fredregill, at 11:00 A.M. There will be a visitation at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 6-8:00 P.M. 2005 South 4th Avenue, Pocatello, ID, 233-1500 and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Arizona.

The concluding graveside service will begin 12 Noon, Friday, December 19, 2014 at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, Arizona.
