She was the wife of the late Harry Abbood. Born in Easton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Wadeh and Rachel (Mawad) Elias. Mrs. Abbood was the founder of Ceba's Diner, on Taunton Avenue, which she owned for 40 years, until retiring in 1985.
She was a member of St. George Maronite Church, Pawtucket.
She leaves a daughter, Rachel A. DeMello, and a son, Samuel J. Abbood, both of East Providence; three grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. She was the sister of the late James and John Elias, and Tiro Symia
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. from Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. George Maronite Church, 50 Main St., Pawtucket. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
