My G-G-Grandmother. The cemetery records state the last name as "TRACEY," but the family spelled it TRACY in the US and records from Mountheaton, County Offaly, Ireland have it written as TREACY. Margaret's maiden name was spelled DELAHUNTY on records from Ireland, but I have found some records in the US with the spelling of DELAHANTY. She was the wife of EDWARD TREACY and they lived in Mount Heaton, County Offaly, (which is 3 miles from the county line of N. Tipperary)and married in 1854, at St. Cronan's RC Parish in Roscrea, Co. N. Tipperary. MARGARET and EDWARD had 10 children; ANNIE ELIZABETH, MICHAEL J., #1JOHN, #1JAMES, EDWARD, #2JAMES, #2JOHN, MARY, RHODY, and MAGGIE. Also buried with her are her son, Michael J., her sister, Ann Delahunty, and her granddaughter, Florence Tracy.
