SANDERSVILLE, GEORGIA--Funeral services for James W. Marchman, 48, of Warthen, Ga.,who died Monday at his residence, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Sisters Baptist Church with the Rev. T.C. Burrelle and the Rev. Milton Wood officiating.
Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery.
Mr. Marchman was born in Greene County, son of the late Pete Marchman and Mattie Carr Marchman Tanner of Augusta. He was employed by Albert Browns Lumber Mill.
Survivors in addition to his mother are his widow, the former Miss Mamie Lee Horton; a daughter, Joanne Marchman, Warthen; a son, James Marvin Marchman, Warthen; two brothers, Richard Gilbert Marchman and Gene "Pete" Marchman, both of Augusta; five
sisters, Mrs. Nellie Ruth Marchman cheek, Forsyth, Mrs. Evelyn Marchman Askew and Mrs. Mary Anna Marchman Johnson, Sparta, Ga., Mrs. Kay Johnson, Augusta, and Mrs. Helen Aquilla Marchman Batchelor Brooks, White Plains, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
