DEATH CLAIMS MRS. STUART
Rites Here Friday For School Teacher,57
Mrs. Ralph H. (Annabell C.) Stuart, 57, 1230 Elm St., teacher at the Adams Township School in Decatur County for 19 years and home economics teacher for the past several years in the St. Paul High School, died today at 7:40 a.m. at Major Hospital. She had been in failing health for 15 months with complications and in serious condition for two months.
Mrs. Stuart was born April 24, 1904 in Noble Township, Shelby County, a daughter of George R. and Millie (Reed) Cuskaden. She married Mr. Stuart, a teacher at Shelbyville Junior High School, on October 18, 1924. He survives with the mother, living in St. Paul, and two daughters, Mary Bell Stuart, a student at Ball State Teachers College, and Mrs. Amelia Boles of Indianapolis.
A brother, Bernard Cuskaden of St. Paul, and a sister, Mrs. Alta McVey of Waldron, also survive. There are two grandchildren, Cassandra Ann and Anna Suzanne Boles. One brother preceded in death.
Mrs. Stuart was a member of the Waldron Order of Eastern Star, the American Association of University Women, and the St. Paul Christian Church. She was a past president of the Omega Nu Tau sorority.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Carmony Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Rev. James Horner will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
