HILA, HAWAII - A memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church in Lumber City at 2 p.m. Sunday for Esther Owens Myers, 70, a resident of Hila, Hawaii, who died Dec. 24, 1997, at North Hawaii Community Hospital.

Interment will be in at Lumber City Cemetery.

She was born in Kerrmoor, a daughter of Chester and Adda Owens.

She was a graduate of Curwensville High School, Class of 1945.

Mrs. Myers was a retired bookkeeper, docent at Lymase Museum -and a member of the AARP and RSVP.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Myers; four children, Linda Myers of Hayward, Calif., John Myers of Lemon Grove City, Calif., Patricia Sprague and Kathlyn Stanberry, both of Seattle, Wash.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and four sisters, Helen Ammerman of Curwensville, Ethel Heitsenrether of Clearfield, Eva Swahson of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and Patricia Anderson of Lockport, N.Y.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters
