Roy Houpt, 92, of 726 East Washington, died at 11:15 a.m. today at Mary Sherman Hospital.
A retired carpenter, Mr. Houpt was a member of Carpenters Local 706 and the First Christian Church.
He was married in 1901 to the former Mary E. Robertson, who survives. Mr. and Mrs. Houpt celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last November.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Workman and Mrs. Mary Frances Telscher, both of Indianapolis; two sons, Gene and Clarence, both of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Maude Bean, Wilfred; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Alexander Funeral Home where arrangements are pending.
