CHATHAM - Ranie J. Gibson, 82, of Chatham, died July 25, 2007, at Piney Forest Health Care Center. Born April 22, 1925, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Madison Monroe Jackson Sr. and Luzetta Walls Jackson.
She lived her entire life in the Callands area and retired from Health-Tex. She was a member of Oak Ridge Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Herman A. Gibson; a daughter, Mildred Rigney Hodges; a son, Addison Wayne Rigney; a brother, Cassell Jackson; five grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a sister, Betty Mildred Gardner; brothers, Madison Monroe Jackson and Stonewall Jackson; two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Christian Church cemetery.
