GOBLES -- Horace E. Sackett, 68, of 31st Street, Gobies, died Monday at Allegan General Hospital.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. There will be no visitation at the Gobies Chapel of Robbins Funeral Home.

Mr. Sackett was born May 17, 1914, in Gobies, and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of World War II and was the owner of Air Motive Repair, Gobies.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; a stepson, James Jakus of Las Vegas, Nev.; one grandchild; and three sisters, Iva Short of Otsego, Susie Champion of Gobies and Greta Lamberson of Jackson; and a brother, Russell of Kalamazoo.
