Richard James Moran

Richard James Moran, born January 21, 1945 in Miami, AZ to Angela Flores Moran and Edwin Moran. passed away on November 14, 2014 at his residence in Globe. He was the youngest of six children.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ben and Bob Moran and his sister Sylvia Moran.

He was employed at the Freeport McMoran Copper Mine for 32 years, and also volunteered at the Miami Senior Center for 5 years. Richard loved fishing, get togethers, yard saling, delivering for the Meals on Wheels, his church and church family and his many friends in the community.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Carolyn, his son Michael (Buffy Green), daughter Stephanie Eddards, step children Alan Vickers (Karen), Darrin Vickers (Nidia), Dana Deatherage (Darryl), sister Norma Perez (Joe) 15 grandchildren who all love him dearly.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at Globe Christian Center in Globe, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the church.

Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
