Manuel David Clontz, 68, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his home. Mr. Clontz was born in Carroll County to the late Ed and Vina Alderman Clontz. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Angela Clontz Hensdell.
Mr. Clontz is survived by his wife, Darnell G. Clontz of the home; son and special friend, Jeffrey S. Clontz and Derenda Gwynn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Delores Clontz, J.D. Clontz , and Eddie and Donna Clontz ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Steve Martin , Anna Bell and Donald Primm, and Hattie and Turner Quesenberry .
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Galax First Assembly of God Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Angie Lineberry and Pastor Dud Spencer.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Church Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115.
