POAG, June Isabella (formerly PHILLIPS, née KNIGHT)
Of Chateau Gardens, London, and formerly of Chatham and Wabash, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 29, 2005, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late James W. POAG (1995) and William A. PHILLIPS (1963.) Survived by her sons Don (Pat) PHILLIPS of London, Jim (Peggy) PHILLIPS of London, and George (Susan) PHILLIPS of Ottawa, and step-daughter Virginia. Dear grandmother of Daryl (Renee) PHILLIPS, Michael (Krista) PHILLIPS, Carolyn (Jeff) SAUVÉ, Jeff (Jessica) PHILLIPS, Darlene (Ken) HILLGARTNER, Michael SEIP, Christine (Paul) MURPHY, Caryn (Jason) PHILLIPS, Jason MURPHY, Sarah MURPHY, Joshua MURPHY, Joshua (Cynthia) PHILLIPS, Brooke PHILLIPS and step-grandchildren Ann (Doug) KIRKHAM, Amos (Irma) BAXTER, Dorothy (Steve) INGLIS, Bill (Pat) BAXTER, Burt BAXTER, Cathy (Gary) SIDDALL and Jim (Gail) BAXTER. Also surviving are 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Doris KNIGHT, brothers Charles (Margaret Ann) KNIGHT, Eldon (Ellen) KNIGHT, Ronald (Winnifred) KNIGHT and Lyle (Sharon) KNIGHT and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Merton KNIGHT and Elizabeth JACKSON, brother Carl KNIGHT, step-mother Agnes DYKEMAN and step-daughter Colleen BAXTER. June was a member of Siloam United Church as well as a long term member for 57 years of the Wabash Women's Institute and the Rebekah Lodge, Dresden, for over 34 years. Family and Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London (between Colborne and Waterloo St.), on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Siloam United Church, 1240 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, on Tuesday November 1, 2005, at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will follow at 3: 30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mayhew Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Mrs. POAG.
