Hank was born to John Hilton Williamson and Freda Stock Williamson on May 19,1950 in Logan, Utah. He was the older of six children (three boys and three girls). At age seventeen, he joined the United States Army and in 1969, he was sent to Vietnam, were he was a member of the 101st airborne division. He was wounded twice. He received two purple heart metals and with the second one, he also received the Bronze Star for bravery. He returned home 1970, where he met and married Jona Nay Zamzow on Feb 5, 1971. Unfortunately, on Feb 6, 1972, he was accidentally shot by a friend and died instantly. He was survived by his parents, his brother Micheal, and three sisters, Susan, Gayla and Julie and Julie's Husband Rick and one year old daughter Fawnda. He was buried in the Richfield City Cemetery with full Military Honors. He was preceded in death by his brother Johnny, who died shortly after birth in 1953 in Logandale, Nevada.
