Funeral services for Edward M. Laskoskie, Sr., age 64, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, May 24, at the Second Baptist Church in Rosenberg. Officiating the service will be Reverend Paul Lewis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Mr. Laskoskie died May 21, 1993 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1928 in Orchard, Texas. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He worked as a field foreman for Pennzoil Corporation for 45 years. Mr. Laskoskie was a member of Second Baptist Church, the V.F.W., and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Long Laskoskie of Rosenberg; daughter, Susan Ann Bow and husband, Michael, of Sugar Land; sons, Edward M. Laskoskie, Jr. of Rosenberg, Glenn R. Ward of Houston, Roger M. Ward and wife, Marcia, of Clear Lake; granddaughters, Sherrill Lee Ward and Julianna Elizabeth Ward, both of Clear Lake; sisters, Bessie Anderson of Rosenberg, Mary McDonald of Houston, and Emma King and husband, C.V., of Nederland, Texas; brothers, Alex Laskoskie and wife, Frances, of Bryan, Max Laskoskie and wife, Connie, of Hempstead; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving guests from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
