Edgewood, la.— Special: Funeral services for William Kramer, 70, were held here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational Church with the Rev. A. H. Meyer, retired Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial w as in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.

Mr. Kramer died at his home here Friday following a long illness. He was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kramer and was born Feb. 4, 1870, at Galena, Ill. When two years old, he came to Clayton County with his parents, the family settling at St. Sebald, north of Strawberry Point. He learned the butcher trade and remained active until three years ago when he retired.

He was married March 26, 1906, at Elkader to Carrie Mae Duncan, who survives with seven children: Clarence, Dale, Howard. and Parke, all of Edgewood; Fred of Lead. S.D., Thomas of Bozeman, Mont. and Kathryn of Bellflower, Calif.; three brothers, John, Fred, and George, all of Strawberry Point; three sisters, Mrs. John Cherry of Waterloo, Mrs. Lena Donner of Dubuque, and Mrs. George Tucker of Strawberry Point; and six grandchildren.
