Joseph Lavine Floyd, 84, of the Franklin community, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at his home. Mr. Floyd is survived by his children Joseph H. (Margaret) Floyd, Cathi (Victor) Alford and Jonathan (Amanda) Floyd; his grandchildren Crystal (Rick) Thomas, Joseph (Jolene) Butler, Amanda Floyd, Alex (Karlie) Johnson, Lindsey Peoples, Matthew (Magen) Floyd, Crystal (Joe) Chandler, LeighAnn (Leo) DiCesaris, Nikki Floyd, Jonathan Floyd, Jr., David Ross, Hunter Ross, Anna Alford and Andrew Alford; 15 great grandchildren; his sister Unita (Walker) Stillwell; and his special friend Annette Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey H. and Carrie Lee Floyd; his wife Mavis Floyd; and his brothers Denzel D. Floyd, O.V. Floyd, and Gleason Floyd.
