POTTS CAMP – Ralph Edward Bridges, 72, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Baptist Hospital East-Memphis. He was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Ripley to Haywood Bridges and Mary Glenn Jones Bridges. He was a logger most of his life and enjoyed hunting.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Bethany Baptist Church in Potts Camp. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his seven children, Roger Bridges (Norma) and Coby Bridges (Andrea) of Potts Camp, Nancy Bridges of Pontotoc, Shelly Crow (Shane) of Arkansas, Whitney Bridges of Walls, Brittney Bridges of Tate, and Windy Lyles of Olive Branch; four brothers, James Cook of Potts Camp, Harvey Cook of Lamar, Jerry Cook of Hickory Flat and Michael Cook of Blue Mountain; one sister, Martha Bolden of Lamar; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at Bethany Baptist Church.
