"Mr. and Mrs. W. Gall received word on Monday afternoon from the Air-Board that their son Herbert Maurice Gall, was reported missing as a result of air operations in Europe on 6th August. We join with their many friends in hoping that "Bert", will eventually turn up safe and well."

Merinda, advises having received the following telegram from the Air Board, Melbourne: "Regret to inform you that your son Herbert Maurice Gall, previously reported, missing, now reported missing believed to have lost his life on 6th August. This, information is based on report received through Air Ministry London from International Red Cross Commission quoting German sources. Any further information received will be immediately conveyed to you."

STATUTORY NOTICE TO CREDITORS. Re HERBERT MAURICE GALL late of DELTA, near Bowen in the State of Queensland, CLERK LATELY MEMBER R.A.A.F. deceased. NOTICE is hereby given that all other persons having Claims against the Estate of the above named Herbert Maurice Gall late of Delta near Bowen, in the State of Queensland, deceased, who died on or about' the Sixth day of August, 1942, A.D., on Active Service, are hereby required to send their claims to the Local Deputy Public Curator,' Townsville, on or before the Fifteenth day of October, 1913. And that, after the expiration of the last mentioned date the said Local. Deputy Public Curator will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims of which he shall then have had notice.
